Oregon Rex (Solstice)

As I recall, they had some injuries, and were a bit short-handed (missing JC for one), so it might be a bit harder this year, but I think we can still do it.

Yea, I vote we go and I vote we beat them again (with minor modifications to the D line, Santana).

Last year, One Mississippi won this tournament. We beat them at Spawnfest.

What: Oregon Rex 2008, an Oregon Co-ed Recreational Tournament
Where: Eugene, Oregon
When: June 21-22, 2008
Who: recreational co-ed teams from around Oregon and beyond, geared towards teams that don't enter the UPA Championship Series, but that compete in local leagues or pick-up games
Why: provide a central venue for Ultimate players from smaller cities and towns in Oregon, have a fun and spirited tournament associated with the Eugene Summer Solstice tournament and expose newer players to some of the best Ultimate in the world.
How: Just organize a team from your local disc community and leagues! And forward this message to your local community to let them know what's going on.

The tournament fee of $350 pays for fields, dinner on Saturday night, an awesome party Saturday night, many, many, many kegs of beer, field food, and so on.
